We had a fantastic romantic getaway at a beautiful countryside hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious meals every night and a great breakfast with plenty of choices. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel also had a lovely spa with a jacuzzi and sauna, perfect for relaxation. One of the best aspects was the stunning view from our room, overlooking the hills outside.
There were a few drawbacks. The TV in our room had poor quality and reception issues.

The thing that I like most and the main reason for choosing this hotel, was that I was able to take my small well behaved dog to stay with me at the hotel.
The double room that I had booked (looking forward to sleeping in a large bed) resulted in a twin bedroom with two small singles.

We got great value for our money at Wolfscastle Country. The room was spacious, stylish, and had a beautiful view. The location was peaceful and convenient, with easy access to the coast and mountains. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided impeccable service.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings better was if the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

Excellent breakfasts. A characterful place in a good location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Quiet and peaceful.
Dinner was 'haute cuisine' style; meagre portions fancily described and presented. 'Home made oat cakes' described on the menu turned out to be commercially available biscuits. More care needs to be taken to ensure that menu descriptions are accurate.

Good location, staff were friendly and helpful and it is the only hotel that provided us with a room with any sort of view. The food was good, the steak night was excellent value.
Bed was too soft for my liking but my companion was happy with the bed. Menu didn't appear to change so could be restrictive if staying more than a few nights, no specials, though Thursday steak night helped.

the bedroom was beautifully designed, with a comfortable sofa and a massive, cozy bed. the highlight of my stay, however, was the incredible food. I have dined in many high-class restaurants during my travels, but the meals at this hotel were truly exceptional. the presentation was impeccable, and they even catered to my gluten-free needs without any fuss. the selection of wines was fantastic, and what impressed me the most was how popular the restaurant was among the locals. I would definitely stay at this hotel again without hesitation. Cons: Nothing I experienced at this hotel was less than perfect. .

All the staff were freindly and welcoming, bar nibbles of olives and salami c ompnesated for the fact that we could not get a table until 8.15. Good wine list, excellent starter of scallops andblack pudding for my husband, lovely king prawns iwth chorizo for me - we will be returning.
Did not get my Sunday newspaper as ordered which was annoying - another customer had been given it, and would not give it back in time for me to enjoy with my breakfast. Kedgeree was not available, otherwise all fine!

Room and food
Not being told at point of check in, loud music was going until 01.00am in morning. Instead a letter was put under door after check in ( very sneeeky ) if we had been told this we would not have booked in. Due to lack of sleep it spoilt our business trip as we had a 630 mile round trip. Also doors slamming at 4.30am in morning due to door closers not being correctly adjusted. A shame as a former village resident had highly recommended it (chalkie white)

I thought it was a comfortable hotel and the room offered most of the facilities I was looking for.
There was not a decent radio in the room and the T.V. was badly positioned , for example it could not be seen from the bed. I did not like being given a menu for dinner in the bar and then ignored for 20 minutes. The breakfast was very poorly presented and not cooked - I asked for two poached eggs and toast and one egg was not cooked properly.

Catering and staff were good, but room and bathroom need refurbishment. Hazardous access to room. Met needs for hospital access and location is great for exploring Pembrokeshire.
